The Lift Assure Macerating Toilet Pump is a cost-effective way to add a macerator to any wall-mounted, rear-outlet (P-trap), or Euro-style toilet. The Lift Assure Macerating Pump also allows you to add a shower/tub and a sink to any space you are converting into a bathroom. The pump is capable of lifting wastewater up to 22 ft. and has approximately 295 ft. of horizontal run with gravity assist. The heart of the macerator is a 1-horsepower motor that spins a sharpened stainless steel blade to chop and propel the wastewater.
The macerating toilet pump is capable of a flow rate of 38 gallons per minute. The built-in 1.5" inputs allow for easy plumbing. The macerating pump also includes built-in backflow protection.
The included macerating toilet pump contains three ports: the main port that connects to the discharge pipe, and the two side ports that allow you to connect a bathing unit and a sink. The system comes with multi-sized inlets complete with pipe clamps.

Installation is simple with the Lift Assure Macerating Pump. The pump can be installed up to 36" away from the back of the toilet, as long as there is a 0.25" drop per foot leading to the pump.
Product Installation
Depending on your choice of toilet, the plumbing may vary. The piping and pump can be concealed within the wall space. The centerline on the toilet input of the Lift Assure Macerator is 7.5". You will need to plan accordingly when installing the pump and roughing in the plumbing. When adding a shower connection to the macerator, the base of the shower must be elevated so that water drains into the macerator. This also applies when adding tubs.

*Some pre-planning is required when installing the pump. Be sure to dry-fit the pump when renovating the bathroom space.
How It Works
The Lift Assure toilet includes a macerator connected to the back of the toilet. Once the lever flush is triggered, water and human waste travel to the macerator, where they are ground into small particles. The waste particles are then pumped upward and transferred from the basement to the home's main waste line. The same process applies if the grinder is connected to a sink and/or shower.
