Product Details
Rear outlet toilets are also referred to as rear-discharge, back-flush, or “P-trap” toilets. Back-flushing toilets are ideal when a ground-flush model will not work. A standard toilet has an “S-trap” internal configuration, where waste exits downward into a sewer system located below the toilet.
In basement and first-floor applications, a macerator pump (not included) is required for proper drainage. The only time this two-piece P-trap toilet design can be used without a pump is when installed on a second floor (above ground level). With a rear outlet toilet, you don’t have to tear up the floor to connect your plumbing. Installation and repairs are easier because there is no need to lift the toilet, which can disrupt the wax seal.
Another benefit in smaller bathrooms is space. Rear outlet toilets are slightly narrower than standard models. When every inch counts, this design helps create more room between the toilet and vanity or the toilet and shower/bath.
This rear outlet toilet kit is family-friendly, with a bowl height of 15 inches from the seat to the floor, making it easier for children to use.
These kits feature half- and full-flush buttons located on the side of the tank, a great feature that saves water and reduces costs. You can choose how much water is needed per flush, whether flushing solids or liquids. Lift Assure toilets also include soft-close seat lids, which help prolong the life of the toilet seat.
