Product Details
The Lift Assure In-Wall Macerating Toilet Pump is a cost-effective way to add a macerator to any wall-mount, rear-outlet (P-trap), or Euro-style toilet. It also allows you to add a shower, tub, and sink to any space being converted into a bathroom. The pump is capable of lifting wastewater up to 30 ft. vertically and approximately 295 ft. horizontally with gravity assist. At its core is a powerful 1-horsepower motor that spins a sharpened stainless steel blade to efficiently chop and propel wastewater.
The macerating toilet pump delivers a flow rate of 47 gallons per minute. Built-in 1.5" inputs allow for easy plumbing, and the pump features integrated backflow protection. The system includes three ports: a main port that connects to the discharge pipe and two side ports that provide the option to connect a bathing unit and a sink. Multi-sized inlets with pipe clamps are included for convenience.
This bathroom system is an ideal DIY project for homeowners looking to install a basement bathroom or add facilities to other areas, without breaking concrete or breaking the bank. This powerful unit features a double set of blades with internal “impeller blades,” capable of pulverizing and clearing accidental flushes of common feminine products, a frequent cause of blockages that won’t be an issue with our unique design.
The In-Wall Macerator Pump is discreetly installed behind the wall, providing a clean, clutter-free look. For convenient maintenance, a small (dimensions) access opening is required. Don’t worry, each unit includes a stylish (material) door panel to seamlessly cover the access point.
Macerating toilets make it easy to convert any space into a bathroom. By using a macerating pump with a rear-discharge (P-trap) toilet, you will not have to break concrete, a time-consuming and expensive process for installing or renovating a bathroom. The built-in inlets allow you to add both a sink and a shower or tub, helping these toilet kits flush the savings back into your wallet.
Installation is a breeze with the Lift Assure In-Wall Macerating Pump. The pump can be installed up to 36" away from the back of the toilet, as long as there is a 0.25" drop per foot leading to the pump.

Install Information
Depending on your choice of toilet, plumbing requirements may vary. The piping and pump can be concealed within the wall space. The centerline of the toilet input on the Lift Assure Macerator is 7.5", so plan accordingly when installing the pump and roughing in the plumbing. When adding a shower connection to the macerator, the shower base must be elevated to ensure proper drainage into the macerator. The same applies when adding a tub.
After installing the in-wall macerator pump, you will need to leave an 11.5 in. x 11 in. square opening for easy access and maintenance. Included in the kit is an access door panel that will fit tightly on the 11.5 in. x 11 in. opening. The access door panel is 14 in. x 14 in. DO NOT MAKE THE SQUARE OPENING BIGGER THAN 11.5 in. x 11 in., as the access door has hinges that secure the panel in place.
Toilet Compatibility
The Lift Assure In-Wall Macerating Pump can be used with toilets such as:
Kohler Veil Wall Mounted Toilet*
Kohler Wall Outlet Toilets (Barrington, Highline Classic, and Wellworth)*
Kallista Wall Mounted Toilets*
American Standard Yorkline*
American Standard Glenwall Wall Mount Toilet*

How It Works
The Lift Assure toilet includes a macerator connected to the back of the toilet. When the lever flush is activated, water and waste flow into the macerator, where they are ground into small particles. The waste particles are then pumped upward and transferred from the basement to the home's main waste line. The same process applies when the grinder is connected to a sink and/or shower.
