Product Details
The space-saving elongated-seat toilet is designed for those with limited space in their addition. At a depth of 25 1/2 inches, the toilet occupies minimal room when the macerating wastewater processing mechanism is placed in the wall. A bowl height of 15 3/8 inches compensates for the shorter depth, allowing more legroom. It also comes with the NEW and improved powerful powerful 800W In-Wall Pump. The self-contained grinder, pump, and switch are easily accessible through a maintenance access opening (door panel is included).
The In-Wall Macerator Pump is discreetly installed behind the wall, providing a clean, clutter-free look. For convenient maintenance, a small (dimensions) access opening is required. Don’t worry, each unit comes with a stylish (material) door panel to seamlessly cover the access point.
All Lift Assure toilets are made from white ceramic, providing increased durability and a shiny finish. The lids feature a soft-closing hinge that prevents slamming and prolongs the life of the toilet seat. Additional features include an easy-to-access lever flush handle and an in-wall macerating pump with built-in backflow protection.
The sink and shower or bathtub can be any style or brand. There are no special plumbing requirements. For the sink, the pipes after the trap will be directed down to the macerating water processing system using simple angled couplings. A tub or shower will always require a bottom drainage system, so the shower should be built 3 ½ inches above the floor and have the bottom drain directed at an angle to the pump. The pump is capable of moving 3.85 gallons of water per minute, more than enough to handle most showerheads, which typically have a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute.

Install Information
Depending on your choice of toilet, plumbing requirements may vary. The piping and pump can be concealed within the wall space. The centerline of the toilet input on the Lift Assure Macerator is 7.5", so plan accordingly when installing the pump and roughing in the plumbing. When adding a shower connection to the macerator, the shower base must be elevated to ensure proper drainage into the macerator. The same applies when adding a tub.
After installing the in-wall macerator pump, you will need to leave an 11.5 in. x 11 in. square opening for easy access and maintenance. Included in the kit is an access door panel that will fit tightly on the 11.5 in. x 11 in. opening. The access door panel is 14 in. x 14 in. DO NOT MAKE THE SQUARE OPENING BIGGER THAN 11.5 in. x 11 in., as the access door has hinges that secure the panel in place.
How It Works
The Lift Assure toilet includes a macerator connected to the back of the toilet. When the lever flush is activated, water and waste flow into the macerator, where they are ground into small particles. These particles are then pumped upward and transferred from the basement to the home's main waste line. The same process applies if the grinder is connected to a sink and/or shower.
